Policies

Of course there are rules - there are always rules !

Reservations

We recommend you make a reservation 3-4 weeks prior the time you would like to have the workshop.

Reservations may be made up to 6 months in advance. Reservations will be held with a $50.00 deposit. Your deposit may be partially refunded depending on the circumstances. Please see below for more specific policies.

You will receive a Reservation Confirmation via email within a few days of making your reservation. If your plans change, and you no longer plan to attend a workshop, please let us know so other troops on our waiting lists may attend.

Sometimes we can accommodate last minute reservations so don't hesitate to ask.

Workshops are open only to scouts and their leaders or assisting parents; no tagalongs. (Please follow Safety Wise percentages).

All workshops begin and end on time; late arrivals may not be able to complete all workshop activities. In accordance with our safety policy, leaders (or a representative) must stay with their troop at all times during the workshop

Badges & Patches

We will not provide the ‘official’ pedal, try-it or badge for an event. It is up to each leader/parent to determine if any additional projects and/or activities are needed to complete the badge. We may provide special event patches.



Payment

For all workshops, advance payment is required at least 1 week prior to the workshop date. You may make payment via Paypal, money order or an official girl scout check.

You may receive a full deposit of your refund if you cancel within one week of making your reservation.

You may receive a 50% refund of your deposit if you cancel your reservation after 2 weeks.

There are no refunds once full payment has been made. Rescheduling is possible and subject to our calendar (space available).

If one or more girls are unable to attend the scheduled workshop, there are no refunds or credits toward future workshops. It is suggested that you substitute one or more scouts from another troop in their place.

If you cannot find replacements, we may have some materials that you can take back to the girl(s) who were not able to make it, however, the materials may not be considered a full completion of the topics covered in the actual workshop. The leader/scout will be responsible for ‘filling in the blanks’ of any missing requirements. Please ask for any materials the day of the event.

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will have the option of a full refund or a reschedule. Mother nature sometimes creates hazardous conditions and we want to keep everyone safe.

Please be sure that you finish your snacks and have cleaned up before we arrive OR wait until after the workshop to eat. All workshops will begin and end on time. If you are still snacking when we arrive you will have a shorter amount of time to complete the workshop.
